Burton Upon Trent

Served by Burton-on-Trent railway station which is accessed from the bridge on Borough Road is the town in the United Kingdom. William Lord Paget obtained an Act of Parliament to extend navigation on the River Trent from Nottingham up to Burton in 1699, but nothing was immediately done. To George Hayne, who in 1712 opened the River Trent Navigation in the United Kingdom and constructed a wharf and other buildings in the precinct of the old abbey, Lord Paget leased his rights in 1711.

A Georgian building in the United Kingdom which replaced the former Burton Abbey's church is St Modwen's of Burton. Left as the town's main club in the United Kingdom, becoming Burton Town in 1924, but folded in 1940 were Burton All Saints. Burton Albion were founded in 1950.

When the United Kingdom parishes of Anglesey, Branston, Brizlincote, Burton, Horninglow and Eton, Shobnall, Stapenhill, and Winshill were founded, the town became parished on April 1, 2003. In 1892 in the United Kingdom, Burton Swifts became members of the FL and were joined by the Wanderers in 1894. In 1897, Wanderers left, and in 1901, the two clubs merged to form Burton United.

Albion became the town's fourth FL club in 2009 after winning having moved from Eton Park in 2005. The administrative centre for the borough of East Staffordshire and forms part of the Burton constituency is Burton in the United Kingdom. The Conservative Party's Andrew Griffiths who has represented the Burton constituency since May 2010 is the local associate of Parliament.

One of the locations was Burton in the United Kingdom: Andresey, the name given to an island in the river Trent means "Andrew's isle" and refers to a church there dedicated to St Andrew. Associated with the legend of St Modwen, an Irish abbess, is the island.

Also the corporate centre of operations of P.Taverns and Spirit Pub Company in the United Kingdom, which were spun out of Bass in 1997 is Burton. The White Shield, in addition, remains open alongside the National Brewery Centre (formerly the Bass Museum of Brewing).
